These Terms of Use govern use of the Propane Office application (the “App”) operated by GBM Fuel Inc dba American Propane (“we,” “us”). The App is an office-management tool used by our staff to run propane deliveries, billing, and customer accounts. By using the App you agree to these terms.
Who may use the App
Access is limited to employees and authorized users of GBM Fuel Inc dba American Propane. Each user must keep their login private and may only access information needed for their job.
QuickBooks and card payments
The App can connect to our QuickBooks Online company so that customers, invoices and payments are recorded in our books. Card payments are processed by QuickBooks Payments, a payment service provided by Intuit Payments Inc. Card numbers are entered into a secure form that sends them directly to QuickBooks; the App stores only a reference to the saved card, the last four digits, the card brand and the expiration date. Customers authorize card charges for propane deliveries when they agree to be billed to a card on file. A temporary hold may be placed on a card before a delivery, and only the actual amount of the delivery (including taxes and fees) is collected. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the App’s Settings page or from QuickBooks.
Acceptable use
You may not use the App to break the law, to access data you are not authorized to see, to interfere with its operation, or to charge a customer’s card without their authorization.
Accuracy and responsibility
Estimates in the App (such as the gallons suggested for a delivery, based on tank monitor readings) are aids for staff, not guarantees. Staff are responsible for confirming amounts before charging customers.
Availability and changes
The App is provided “as is.” We may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
